The Camp chef UDO-14 Ultimate Dutch Oven. 9 1/2 Quarts,Cast Iron.

Great little oven
I love to cook up my special bean recipe in this little oven. It heats so thoroughly, which really makes the cooking process turn out better. And of course, being cast iron, this thing will last forever.

The UDO-14 performs as advertised, but a couple issues showed up. I wanted it for pastry and breads as much as for crock-pot meals. With the stand-alone oven, there is still an issue with uneven heat and not getting done on top. One reviewer suggested it still needed briquettes on the lid to bake breads. There is a quick fix for it and I wish I figured it out before I bought the UDO-14 as I would have bought both together. Don't get the UDO without the Dutch Oven Dome Cover. For $30-something you get a deflection plate to spread the heat from the gas burner (no hot spots). It also allows the oven to sit securely on its legs on the top of the gas stove. The cover itself is a fire-proof fabric dome that drops over the oven and keeps the entire pot and lid at pretty much the same temperature. The only minus is I am having trouble finding cookware that has a hole in the center large enough to drop over the convection column in the UDO-14.

Dutch oven
Great value, quick shipping and product is more versitile than those offered by lodge at a better price, you cant have too many dutch ovens :)
