Handy Gourmet JB6136 2-Piece Low Fat Meat Loaf Pan

Perfect for a one-pounder
I've had several of these meatloaf pans. This one is considerably cheaper than my last - Anolon Advanced Nonstick Bakeware 2-Piece Loaf Pan Set - but works every bit as well.

What's important to know about meatloaf pans, of course, is which will suit the size you want. This meatloaf pan is perfect for recipes calling for a single pound of meat. Much more than that, and you're going to have overflow. You can use a larger meatloaf pan for a single-pounder, but your loaf will cook too quickly (and it won't exactly be loaf-like) unless you bunch it into half the pan.

So, single-pounder recipe? Perfect. More? Consider a deeper pan. (Like the one I linked - worked fine for larger loaves.)

I like to layer the bottom pan with foil, as it is considerably easier to clean. I use low-fat beef anyway in my recipes, and since there's not a lot of liquid draining it otherwise cooks in pretty...

GREAT BUY
This works like a charm! I usually used ground sirloin or ground chuck for meatloaf to cut down on the grease and fat. It seemed to come out on the dry side and lost a lot of the flavor. With this Handy Gourmet pan I tried regular ground beef and it drains the grease and fat and the flavor is amazing! I'm a guy that is far from being a good cook, but I'd put MY meatloaf up against anyones now...

Great
Fat stays in the pan not in my meatloaf. Easy to clean pan.Convenient to store in any cabinet. Enjoy your pan
