Lovely Pan
We have a very old set of waterless cookware, still a workhorse, but now the bottoms bow and there are dents and hot spots. After 44 years, we decided to replace it. We had already purchased a Le Creuset 7+ qt round dutch oven, and love it, but it is wide and not so deep, so limited in use. We started looking for a large stock pot that was triply stainless steel, heavy duty, with strong riveted handles on pot and lid, a metal lid for durability, and deeper rather than wide, with a totally flat bottom to work on our fancy ceramic cooktop. We replaced our saucepans with Le Creuset triply stainless steel, and are very happy with them. We have a Le Creuset outlet store nearby, and got them at a very substantial discount, even though they are not seconds, with free shipping. But the Le Creuset triply stock pots just weren't the right size or shape, and their enameled steel pots just aren't good enough quality.
