Good
This is just what it seems, a very cheap plastic basket. We use it in a bowl to rinse stuff. It works good.
Great colander. Lousy color.
The plastic wash basket shown on Amazon is a beautiful blue. The basket I received is bright red, not a color that matches our kitchen at all. The basket works well for rinsing herbs, berries, even pasta. But, I wish that Amazon, or the company that advertised it, had said that colors might vary. I'd like to see Amazon have a way of showing us those color choices, so we could order what we want.
If you want a great, inexpensive smaller colander, but don't mind what color it comes in, this is just the thing for you.
It's not blue!
I paid $3.00 for this basket so I'm giving it 5 stars. If it cost twice that I'd give it 3 stars just because it was too expensive. Anyway, it's just a cheap plastic bowl. Don't expect it to last very long. It's 3-0" tall. It's 7-3/4" wide to the outside of the rim. It's 7-1/8" wide on the inside of the rim. The bottom is roughly 3-3/4" wide. The little slits are 3/32" x 1/4". I plan on using mine for car camping food prep. Nothing fancy.
Oh, and it's RED!
